Sprouted Grain toast
roasted onion hummus (store-bought)
1/2 fresh tomato, sliced
2 eggs fried in olive oil (yolks broken half-way through)
black pepper and roasted red pepper spices.
serve with: juice or green tea
1. Toast SG toast.
2. Heat olive oil in a medium pan for a few minutes on low-medium heat.
3. Fry two eggs in it. While they’re cooking, crack black pepper and sprinkle with spices for flavour. (Try curry powder, roast red peppers, chilli flakes, oregano, basil – whatever you want.)
4. Slice 1/2 a tomato.
5. Spread thin layer hummus on each piece of toast and serve eggs on that.
Protein: Punch! So much. 2x5g in eggs, 2x6g in toast, 2g in hummus = 24 g
Cost: Super cheap. Buy eggs at the local market to get the cheapest, healthiest ones.
Time: < 10 minutes.
